Safety Foam

Overview

FXI Safety Foam is a reticulated, flexible polyurethane foam whose primary usage is as a passive explosion suppression system capable of withstanding multple explosive events in military and commercial aircraft, race cars and boats.

Primary Usage

Safety Foam helps prevent fuel explosions cuased by gunfire, electrical ignition, ligtening strikes and/or static discharge. Safety Foam can also be used to attenuate the effects of fuel sloshing in fuel tanks, or as a foreign object debris barrier preventing movement of loose debris within the tank. Safety Foam is has also been used as baffling in race cars and boat fuel tanks.
