Electrell ®

Overview

Electrell ® is a family of conductive foams that are available in three standard grades - Custion Grade is general purpose, soft cushioning foam; Filter Grade has an open poor structure allowing for low pressure drop and Firm Grade which provides a firmer foam ideal for packaging applications. Electrell ® foams offer a surface resistivity in the range of 7x10² ohm/sq and are an excellent for electronics applications that require high conductivity, such as for toner added rollers in laser printers.

Primary Usage

Electrell ® provides a good solution for applications primarily in the electronics area that require high conductivity, such as for toner rollers in laser printers. Due to its high conductivity, it has also been used in some precious metal filtering.
