Foam / Air Hybrid

Foam/Air Hybrids are a fusion of comfort with technology. These support surfaces provide alternating therapy that result in loading and offloading of pressure at the patient interface. This cycling of pressure promotes lymphatic blood perfusion, resulting in enhanced tissue health. These support surfaces are ideal for pressure management, aiding in the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers through the use of static and dynamic alternating pressure systems.

The custom fit air bladders are ideally zoned between 2 and 3 comfort levels, ranging from firm to soft. The adjustable zones provide enhanced pressure redistribution and comfort using a functional internal air and foam bladder system. Additionally, this type of Foam/Air Hybrid surface addresses multiple therapy needs while minimizing patient disruption. Since one surface can be used for various needs, there is no need to lift or transfer the patient to another surface, significantly minimizing risk. The Foam/Air Hybrid support surfaces are topped with a layer of visco foam. This layer adds additional comfort and well as contoured support to the shape of the patient's body. Patients with multiple wounds, full thickness skin loss, or Stage 1 wounds can benefit from these surfaces. Foam/Air Hybrids are able to be customized for use across a breadth of medical markets including Acute Care, Long Term Care, Homecare, and Institutional Bedding environments.
