Bodyzone™ iGel

Bodyzone™ iGel is extremely resilient foam that provides exceptional comfort in a supportive, temperature regulated surface. Containing a cross-linked soft polymer gel with a high degree of elasticity, this viscoelastic gel returns to its original shape after repeated use. When combined with foam, this gel gives a "unique" comfortable feel without increasing peak pressures.

The pressure reduction attributes of Bodyzone™ iGel make this an ideal product in the prevention of pressure ulcers. By redistributing weight across an entire surface, peak pressures above the threshold of capillary collapse are avoided. Additionally, through FXI's patented SMT™ (Surface Modification Technology) process, enhanced benefits such as pressure redistribution, reduction of friction and shear, zoned cushioning layers, and enhanced air circulation are achieved through varying density and surface alterations.

Highly durable, Bodyzone™ iGel maintains excellent gel-foam adhesion after 50,000 cycles of roller shear durability while maintaining less than 1% height loss. Bodyzone™ can accommodate patients with a wide range of shapes, sizes, and weights.
